The Record Tool is one of the ways that you can
load or "digitize" material into the Lightworks system.
From this tool you can: Control a VTR whilst
monitoring Video and Audio. Choose the quality
you would like to work at. You can digitize material
at qualities between 10 and 90 minutes per Gigabyte.
These qualities can be mixed within the same edit if
you wish. Choose where you want the material to be
stored. Digitize the contents of a Database.
Databases can be produced on the Lightworks
system itself or on an external logging package
such as the Lightworks assistant.
